Humble Friends Association (HUMFRIEH) was established in 2016 after recognizing the urgent needs of our community. We are a dedicated team of professionals working at the intersection of health, legal support, and social development to provide solutions for the most pressing challenges faced by vulnerable populations.

About HUMFRIEH

Humble Friends Association (HUMFRIEH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and social well-being within our community. Founded in 2016, we bring together a committed team of healthcare providers, peer educators, community health workers, paralegals, mobilizers, and psychosocial workers to ensure equal opportunities for all, regardless of their social background.

We work tirelessly to provide health education, legal support, case management, capacity building, reproductive health awareness, and psychosocial support to vulnerable populations, including internally displaced persons and the less privileged.

Our Activity

What We Do

HUMFRIEH is dedicated to providing inclusive and sustainable solutions to pressing community challenges. We work in key areas such as health sensitization, reproductive health awareness, HIV/AIDS prevention, psychosocial support, and legal assistance to ensure that vulnerable populations receive the care and protection they deserve. Our work is structured into the following focus areas:
Health & Reproductive Rights
We provide community-wide sensitization and awareness campaigns on sexual and reproductive health, family planning, and maternal care while offering HIV/AIDS, STIs, tuberculosis, and malaria prevention and management programs
Psychosocial Support & Case Management
Our team identifies and supports individuals struggling with drug abuse, trauma, and gender-based violence through counseling, case management, and intervention programs to help them regain stability.
Legal Assistance & Civil Status Registration
We assist individuals in obtaining essential legal documents such as birth and death certificates and encourage couples to legalize their unions through marriage certificates. Our paralegals also provide legal education and support for marginalized groups.
Community Empowerment & Capacity Building
We engage and train adolescents, peer educators, and community health workers, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to foster sustainable development and social change within their communities.
Support for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) & Vulnerable Groups
We provide humanitarian aid, counseling, and reintegration support for IDPs, orphans, and individuals in difficult circumstances, helping them access healthcare, education, and essential resources.
